Hello! Or rather, bonjour!

We are Alyssa and Kurt, two California natives who have been brought to Europe by an amazing opportunity for Kurt to work at the international laboratory CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. This is a chronicle of all of our adventures in Europe! We plan on giving our friends and family all kinds of ideas for fun things to do when you come to visit us!

Our travel journey began many years ago in Thailand while on a study abroad trip together. Our mutual love of taking advantage of every moment led to us setting out on adventures together while our classmates chose to nap or relax at the hotel when we had downtime.

What began as a great foundation for a relationship has over the years developed into a lifelong love of learning and immersing ourselves in new places and cultures, enjoying the small moments as much as the epic ones, and appreciating the beauty of our planet consciously. Traveling continues to be one of our greatest loves, and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to be able to experience so much of the world. We hope you enjoy our chronicles!
